What is Forlax used for​​​?

Forlax (Macrogol 4000) orange flavour is a pure isotonic solution that is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of constipation in adults and children aged 8 years and above.

Macrogol 4000 is a large organic compound that has water-binding properties and cannot be absorbed by the body.

Forlax restores your natural mode of action and reeducates the bowel without irritating it.

Mode of Action

1. Forlax® combines with water molecules during preparation.
2. Forlax® then binds to stools in the bowel to soften and hydrate the stools.
3. The increased volume of stools activates the natural bowel movements.
4. The softened stools are excreted easily.

The effect of Forlax® becomes apparent within 24 to 48 hours after its administration.

Ingredients

For a sachet of 10.167g: Macrogol (INN) 4000 - 10g, Saccharine sodium 0.017g, Orange grapefruit flavour - 0.150g Orange grapefruit flavour

Contains: Orange and grapefruit oils and concentrate

Directions

Take 1-2 sachets daily. Dissolve contents in a glass of water for oral consumption.

Space it 2 hours apart from any other medications or supplements.
